About
Jazz hold’s a Masters in Experimental Psychology from Rivier University and is passionate about combining their interests in psychology, analytics, and gaming. Major academic research focused on video games. Their journey has taken them through the worlds of mental healthcare, academia, and finally industry, where their skills can be applied to games directly.
Most recently, they have been working as a data analyst at Demiurge Studios. Here, they blended analytics and liveops design to reverse declining revenue on an older mobile title, making more than 2019 in 2020 and 2021 and increasing ARPDAU each year over the previous. They also worked on A/B tests, user satisfaction surveys, and product development research.
Previously, they also worked at Lexia Learning (a Rosetta Stone company) where they conducted research on the efficacy of a literacy EdTech product. While there, they also created automatically generating research reports per state in Tableau, reducing the work normally required from weeks to a couple of days.
Additionally, Jazz also has had several years of experience in customer service. On a personal note, Jazz is originally from New Hampshire, and enjoys playing tabletop RPGs, video games, violin, singing, and winter sports.
